The World & Taste of Coffee: A morning with a Maine Coffee Roasting Company
Join us on February 6th from 10:00am – 11:30am. Coffee is a ritual for most Americans, many of whom have even become at-home baristas this past year. Coffee is ‘steeped’ in world history, it was actually discovered by goats in Ethiopia 1,000 years ago; however, if Pope Clement the VIII hadn’t baptized in the early 1600s, we might not have coffee houses on every corner today. Join the team from Coffee Hound Coffee Co. on February 6th at 11am for a morning of coffee. Each participant will receive coffee for the coffee tasting portion of the program. In addition to learning some of the fascinating history of coffee, you will also be guided through how coffee goes from bean to cup. This is a virtual tour from coffee roasting to coffee cupping – right from the comfort of your home. You will also be provided best tips for home brewing and seek answers to some burning questions you may have about coffee. The registration fee includes coffee, so you can literally taste the coffee you’re learning about. This is a live virtual online class. $15 registration includes coffee for tasting portion of the program.
